Our client is currently recruiting reliable and hardworking Class 2 (Category C) Drivers for tramping work based out of Prescot. This role is ideal for drivers comfortable with nights away and physical work.
Job Details:
- Monday to Friday work
- Average 48 hours per week
- Start times between 4am and 6am
- 10-13 drops per day
- 2-3 nights out per week
- Night out allowance: £50 per night (includes evening meal, drink, and breakfast)
- Weekly pay every Wednesday
Key Responsibilities:
- Nationwide deliveries as part of a tramping role
- Handballing required (typically for items over 35kg)
- Ensuring safe and timely deliveries
- Vehicle checks and defect reporting
- Completing delivery paperwork accurately
Training & Induction:
Day 1 induction and assessment (approx. 4 hours). Drivers will be buddied up for the first week for support.
Requirements:
- Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous experience 1 year required
- Comfortable with manual handling and tramping
- Reliable with a strong work ethic
