The Opportunity

Do you have extensive experience scoping, architecting, and delivering Business Applications on the Microsoft Power Platform? Are you a consultant at heart, someone who thrives on solving real business problems, shaping digital roadmaps, and guiding customers through change? Do you enjoy owning the end to end customer journey, from early engagement and vision setting through to delivery, go live, and continuous improvement? If so, an opportunity has become available within the highly successful iCoTech Consulting Team. This is a pivotal role within the practice.

Role Overview

You will take full ownership of customer engagements, working closely with stakeholders to understand strategic objectives, pain points, and constraints. You will define solution roadmaps, shape delivery backlogs, and lead the design and build of enterprise grade Power Platform solutions. This role goes beyond configuration; you will be responsible for architectural decisions, onboarding readiness, environment and licensing strategy, delivery governance, and long term platform evolution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Consulting Leadership & Customer Ownership
    • Act as the primary consultant and technical authority for assigned customer engagements.
    • Build and maintain trusted, long term relationships with customers at all levels, including senior and executive stakeholders.
    • Own the overall customer experience, ensuring engagements are well governed, outcomes focused, and aligned to customer objectives.
    • Provide strategic advice on how the Power Platform can support wider organisational transformation.
  • Roadmap & Solution Strategy
    • Own and evolve the product and solution roadmap for each customer, ensuring alignment between business vision, technical capability, and delivery reality.
    • Work with customers to define, prioritise, and maintain backlogs of change, enhancements, and optimisation items.
    • Translate business objectives into clear, deliverable solution requirements and phased delivery plans.
    • Identify opportunities for platform expansion, optimisation, and reuse.
  • Architecture, Onboarding & Technical Authority
    • Architect complex, scalable Power Platform solutions, leveraging Model Driven Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI and Dataverse.
    • Take ownership of onboarding readiness, environment strategy and configuration, security model and access design, licensing strategy, account setup and resolution of access issues.
    • Build Proofs of Concept (PoCs) for new or complex customer requirements.
    • Ensure solutions align to iCoTech design standards, governance, and best practice.
  • Delivery & Engagement Management
    • Lead customer engagements through the full delivery lifecycle, from initiation and analysis through to build, test, go live, and handover.
    • Run and facilitate analysis workshops, solution design sessions, and playback meetings.
    • Coordinate delivery activities, acting as the bridge between customers, consultants, and internal stakeholders.
    • Support and oversee testing, implementation planning, and release management.
    • Lead rollout activities, including user training, adoption support, and transition to BAU.
  • Planning & Co-Ordination
    • To be successful in this role, you will bring strong delivery capability, including maintaining and updating delivery plans.
    • Managing customer communications, with status reports and updates.
    • Keeping delivery information up to date within internal PMO and governance systems.

Skills, Experience & Background

Essential:

  • Proven, hands on experience delivering enterprise grade Power Platform solutions: Power Apps (Model Driven & Canvas), Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse.
  • Strong consulting experience, delivering outcomes for clients across multiple engagements.
  • Confident working with customers through ambiguity, translating complex needs into practical solutions.

Desirable:

  • Project / Programme / Portfolio Management experience (e.g. PRINCE2, MSP).
  • Experience delivering Project, Risk & Strategy Management solutions.
  • Microsoft certifications across Business Applications or Modern Work Dynamics 365 CRM Experience.

Salary & Benefits

A great salary between £55,000 - £75,000 depending on experience. Performance Bonus Scheme. EMI Share Scheme. 25 Days + 8 Days Bank Holidays. Remote work with the expectation to visit the office 1 day a month. Committed Training Plan. Cycle to Work Scheme.
