Hourly Rate - £28 PAYE or £37.61 Umbrella

Working Arrangements - 4 days per week on site

BAE Systems is looking for an experienced Supply Chain Platform Manager to support our Fleet Time Engineering (FTE) ship repair and maintenance programmes. Working closely with Project, Engineering, Operations, Commercial teams, the Royal Navy and key suppliers, you'll lead supply chain activity to ensure critical materials and services are delivered safely, on time and within budget.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead supply chain delivery across complex ship maintenance and repair programmes
  • Develop and manage material supply plans and procurement strategies
  • Drive performance, risk management and issue resolution across the supply chain
  • Manage supplier relationships and stakeholder engagement
  • Monitor programme KPIs, budgets and delivery performance
  • Support programme bids, reviews and governance activities

We're looking for:

  • Strong experience leading supply chain activities within complex programmes
  • Knowledge of procurement, logistics and supplier relationship management
  • Experience working within defence, maritime or engineering environments
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Strong commercial and project management awareness
