Our client, a leading entity in the technology sector, is currently seeking a Senior Power Platform Developer to join their esteemed team in Portsmouth. This role resides within the Information Management & Technology Department, focusing on advanced development and administration of Power Platform environments for the Team Portsmouth Infrastructure enterprise, comprising MOD and specific Maritime teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing end-to-end digital solutions for various teams within Power Platform.
  • Managing capacity, deployments, audits, and DLP policies, ensuring security and access protocols are adhered to.
  • Creating and maintaining customisations, including plugins, PCFs, JavaScript web resources, and customer connectors.
  • Building and managing Power Pages, Canvas Apps, and Model-driven apps.
  • Engaging with end-users to deliver thought-through solutions, focusing on those not used to digital tools.
  • Contributing to the wider enterprise architecture and providing technical and operational support to maximise application utilisation.
  • Delivering lifecycle management updates with appropriate governance and administration.
  • Proposing and implementing enterprise-wide changes to address identified problems.

Job Requirements:

  • Experience with PowerBI, Power Pages, Copilot Studio, C#, JavaScript, and creating customer connectors.
  • Proven experience in developing business solutions using the Power Platform.
  • Ability to manage and maintain Power Platform environments effectively.
  • Strong skills in creating and maintaining Canvas and Model-driven applications.
  • Technical expertise in developing Javascript web resources and other advanced model-driven app customisations.
  • Understanding of user experience design within FM, Asset Management, or Industrial Engineering environments.
  • Holding or eligible for security clearance, with a degree in software, IT, computer science, or systems engineering, or relevant experience.
  • PL-400 Power Platform Developer Associate Certificate or PL-600 Power Platform Solution Architect certification, or relevant experience.
