A global specialist manufacturing organisation are currently recruiting for a Senior HSE Advisor to join their business on an interim basis for an initial 3-month contract .
Working within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, you'll play a key role in supporting the delivery of Health, Safety and Environmental compliance while promoting a positive safety culture across the site.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with UK HSE legislation and company standards.
Lead risk assessments, COSHH management and safe systems of work.
Support incident investigations, audits and corrective actions.
Conduct shop floor inspections, behavioural observations and safety engagement.
Deliver HSE training, toolbox talks and inductions.
Support environmental compliance and contractor management.
Work closely with Production, Engineering, Maintenance, Quality and HR teams to drive continuous improvement.
About You:
NEBOSH General Certificate (minimum).
Previous HSE experience within manufacturing, engineering or an industrial environment.
Strong knowledge of UK HSE legislation.
Experience of risk assessments and incident investigations.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
A proactive, practical approach with a passion for improving safety culture.
Desirable:
NEBOSH Diploma (or working towards).
IOSH membership.
Experience within a regulated or safety-critical industry.
Knowledge of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001.
