About the Role
Our client is looking for an Embedded Software Engineer to join their Advanced Developments Group (ADG), a highly innovative team delivering cutting-edge technology solutions within the defence and aerospace sector. This is an excellent opportunity to work on advanced embedded systems, wireless technologies, and real-time software in a collaborative R&D environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop embedded software using C/C++
- Build software for bare-metal and embedded Linux platforms
- Prototype innovative wireless solutions
- Develop real-time embedded software and firmware
- Configure embedded Linux using Buildroot, Yocto, U-Boot, and Device Trees
- Support software from prototype through to deployment
Required Experience
- Embedded Software development using C/C++
- Bare-metal and Embedded Linux development
- Linux Device Drivers (DMA, Interrupts & Device Trees)
- Digital Signal Processing (DSP)
- Software Defined Radio (SDR)
- Active SC Clearance
- British National
