This is sensitive, meaningful work. Our clients and their families need consistency and trust from the people who care for them, so we're looking for individuals who can build genuine relationships and provide steady, dependable support throughout.
About the Role
- Providing personal and end of life care to clients in their own homes across Sunderland
- Supporting clients and families with compassion, dignity and consistency during a difficult time
- Working as part of a small, consistent team of carers assigned to each client, wherever possible
- Following individual care and support plans, developed with clinical and family input
What We're Looking For
- A caring, patient and emotionally resilient individual
- Experience in end of life, palliative, or complex care is beneficial but not essential — full training provided
- Ability to commit to consistent visits with the same client(s), supporting continuity of care
- A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
- Right to work in the UK
- Flexibility to work across SR1 –SR6 and DH4 Washington
What We Offer
- Enhanced mileage rates
- £14.24 - £15.07 per hour including holiday on a casual contract basis.
- Ongoing, consistent hours available for the right candidate (please note: this is not a permanent employment contract)
- Full training and ongoing support, including specialist end of life care training
