Are you a senior Software Engineer looking for a genuine Greenfield opportunity where you'll shape architecture from day one?
You could be joining a growing financial services business as they build a brand new product that will transform how financial advisers work.
This is a high impact role within a small, experienced engineering team where you'll work directly with the CTO, influence technical decisions and see the immediate impact of your work.
As a Software Engineer, you'll help design and build a modern cloud native platform from the ground up using Node. js, Type Script, React and Microsoft Azure.
Working across the full technology stack, you'll take ownership of backend services, APIs, integrations and cloud infrastructure, whilst also contributing to frontend development.
The platform will incorporate AI powered capabilities including meeting transcription, automated report generation and intelligent workflow automation.
You'll be hands-on, designing scalable APIs, building event driven integrations, developing Infrastructure as Code and establishing engineering standards, CI/CD pipelines and architecture alongside the CTO.
Working in an AI first engineering environment, you'll use modern AI development tools to accelerate delivery while maintaining ownership of code quality, security and technical design.
Location / WFH:
You can work from home most of the time, meeting up with colleagues in the Bristol office once or twice a week.
About you:
You have strong Full Stack development experience with Node. js, Type Script and React
You have experience of designing scalable APIs and cloud native applications
You have experience with Microsoft Azure and modern cloud architectures
You have experience integrating enterprise systems and building event driven solutions
You're comfortable working with Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD pipelines
You have experience of using AI assisted development tools such as Git Hub Copilot, Cursor or Claude
You enjoy working in collaborative, start-up style environments with high levels of ownership
