We're looking for a Waste Technician to join our Neath Port Talbot Hospital PFI contract team based in Neath Port Talbot Hospital Baglan Way, Port Talbot.

Location: Neath Port Talbot Hospital Baglan Way, Port Talbot, SA12 7BX Hours: Week 1 Morning 35 hours per week 07:00 14:30, Monday to Friday.

Week 2 Afternoon 45 hours per week 12:30 19:30, Monday to Friday, 07:00 12:00 Saturday to Sunday.

Week 3 Short 21 hours per week 07:00 15:30, Wednesday to Friday.

Week 4 Yard 40 hours per week 07:00 15:30 Monday to Friday - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

What will you be responsible for?

As a Waste Technician, you'll be working within the hospital facilities team, supporting them in delivering a safe, customer-focused, cost-effective, efficient, and compliant service.

Your day to day will include: Collecting clinical, general and recyclable waste streams throughout the hospital Transporting waste to the site-based Waste Transfer Station Ensuring all waste streams are stored and processed in accordance with current legislation Delivering waste consumables to designated points throughout the hospital Promoting wellbeing and inclusivity within your team What are we looking for?
