We are looking to recruit a 40-hour Branch Supervisor / NVQ 2 Qualified to work at our 310-branch located within Station Lane Medical Centre, Station Lane, Featherstone, Pontefract, WF7 6JL.

The proposed shift pattern is to work 5 days a week Monday to Friday as follows: 9:00am to 6:00pm (includes a 1-hour unpaid lunch break).

As a Branch Supervisor / NVQ 2 Qualified, you will oversee the general running of the pharmacy by providing support to the Pharmacist and the rest of the team. NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Pharmacy Services is essential; skills in planning, attention to detail and working under pressure are all required.

You will be involved in both counter and dispensing activities, and you will support the pharmacy in promoting a wide range of pharmacy services including vaccinations and pharmacy first services. You will also be involved in providing blood pressure checks for eligible patients and training may be available to enable you to become a vaccinator.

Excellent customer service and people skills are imperative for this role as you will be responsible for ensuring that high standards of customer care are provided. You must be confident to build customer relationships and have the ability to establish their needs. You will be expected to provide friendly advice, whilst having excellent product knowledge and services. You must also have the drive and enthusiasm to want to coach others to do the same.

The utmost attention to detail is required in this role along with the ability to work under pressure as community pharmacy is a fast-paced environment.
