Location: Plymouth, UK (on-site)
Salary: £36,500 per annum

Hours: Full Time - 37.5 hours / split shifts 06:00-14:00 / 14:00-22:00
Our client, a well-established manufacturing business in Plymouth, is seeking a Team Leader to support their production operations.
This role involves leading a team of Manufacturing Operators to meet production targets while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
The Role
- Lead, support, and develop a team of Manufacturing Operators to achieve daily production and performance targets.
- Drive performance in line with key business metrics including Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, and People.
- Promote a zero-accident culture by proactively identifying safety hazards and ensuring company policies are followed.
- Ensure high standards of quality are achieved in line with Medical Device Standards and Good Manufacturing Practice.
- Support labour planning, monitor sickness and holiday cover, and help ensure production plans are delivered efficiently.
- Work closely with Production, Quality, R&D, and planning teams to provide clear and accurate communication across shifts.
- Identify opportunities to reduce waste, lower costs, and improve Right First Time performance and batch record completion.
Required Expertise
- Previous experience within a manufacturing environment, ideally with experience supervising or leading a team.
- Good understanding of Health and Safety procedures within a production or manufacturing setting.
- Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practice and the ability to work to high quality standards.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail.
