Earning potential: £10,000 - £20,000+ per month

We are looking to build a reliable network of experienced self-employed plumbing & heating engineers to carry out domestic work across London and the surrounding west counties. This is an ideal opportunity for engineers who want the freedom of working for themselves while having access to a consistent flow of jobs, administrative support and an established team behind them.

What we can offer:

  • Regular domestic work and job opportunities
  • Potential earnings of £10,000 - £20,000+ per month, depending on workload
  • 50/50 labour split with uncapped earning potential
  • Materials and agreed expenses covered/reimbursed
  • Flexible working as a self-employed contractor
  • Scheduling and office support
  • Assistance with compliance and paperwork
  • Fast and reliable payment - weekly
  • Ongoing technical support when required
  • Opportunity to develop a long-term working relationship with our business

The work:

Engineers will attend residential properties to investigate and resolve plumbing & heating issues as well as routine servicing. It's okay if you just specialise in one area such as plumbing. Depending on your experience and qualifications, jobs may include:

  • Boiler servicing and repairs
  • Central heating fault finding and repairs
  • Plumbing repairs and installations
  • Heating system maintenance
  • Power flushing
  • Drain unblocking and clearance
  • General domestic plumbing and heating work

You’ll be expected to diagnose problems efficiently, complete work to a high standard and communicate clearly with customers. Where additional work is identified, you should be comfortable explaining the issue to the customer and providing a clear quotation where appropriate. Accurate job notes and photographic records will also be required.

What we’re looking for:

We are interested in hearing from professional engineers with strong practical experience and the ability to work independently. Ideally, you will have:

  • At least 5 years' industry experience
  • Strong domestic plumbing and heating knowledge
  • Good fault-finding and diagnostic skills
  • Gas Safe registration and the relevant gas qualifications if carrying out gas-related work
  • Your own suitable, fully insured van
  • Your own tools, equipment and PPE
  • A smartphone with internet access
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • The ability to manage your own workload and appointments
  • A professional attitude and pride in your workmanship

Who this would suit:

This opportunity is aimed at established engineers who are already comfortable working independently and want access to more regular work without giving up the benefits of being self-employed. If you have the experience, qualifications and professional approach we're looking for, we'd be interested in speaking with you. Apply today to discuss the opportunity and find out more about the work available in your area.
