Our client is a well-established and growing business operating within a fast-paced supply chain and distribution environment. Due to continued growth, they are now looking to recruit a motivated and organised Stock Controller to join their office-based team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop a long-term career within a supportive and professional environment. You will play a key role in ensuring stock accuracy, maintaining supply continuity, and supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the business.

The ideal applicant will have strong organisational skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Previous experience within stock control, logistics, or supply chain environments would be advantageous.

What's involved for the Stock Controller:
  • Maintaining optimum stock levels and preventing overstocking
  • Monitoring daily stock reports and supporting annual stock audits
  • Raising daily factory orders and managing bespoke equipment requests
  • Verifying supplier acknowledgements and supporting demand forecasting activities
  • Resolving supply chain issues and managing factory delay reporting
  • Tracking shipments and supporting logistics and sourcing activities
  • Acting as the main point of contact for incoming goods, collections, and returns
  • Collaborating with internal departments regarding product quality issues
  • Managing stock allocation and maintaining month-end slow/obsolete stock reporting
What you'll need:
  • Previous experience within stock control, logistics, supply chain, or a similar environment
  • Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • The ability to work accurately within a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
