We are currently recruiting for an experienced Painter & Decorator to join a construction company on a 3-week house refurbishment project in Peterborough. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable tradesperson looking for immediate work.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare walls, ceilings and woodwork for painting and decorating
- Apply paint, primers and finishes to a high standard
- Carry out filling, sanding and surface preparation
- Complete decorating work within agreed timescales
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment throughout the project
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Painter & Decorator within construction or residential refurbishment
- Ability to produce a high-quality finish
- Own tools and PPE
- Reliable, punctual and able to work independently
- CSCS card preferred but not essential (depending on site requirements)
- Available to start on Monday 17/08/2026
