We are looking for a Site Manager in Perth to manage and supervise subcontractors, deliveries, operatives, plant and co-ordination to ensure projects are delivered within time to the required safety standards.

The role includes:

  • Managing day-to-day site operations across multiple projects, ensuring accurate records, diaries, inductions, and compliance documentation are always maintained.
  • Leading safe, high-quality delivery by overseeing H&S standards, risk assessments, COSHH, fire strategy, permits to work, and scaffold/material inspections.
  • Coordinating labour, subcontractors, and plant/equipment, ensuring efficient resource use, security, and timely returns.
  • Tracking programme progress, highlighting risks, driving recovery actions, and supporting commercial reporting including valuations, variations, and material tracking.
  • Implementing and monitoring quality management processes such as benchmarks, hold points, sample panels, snagging, and sign-off requirements.
  • Managing supply chain performance, competency checks (incl. NICEIC and other certifications), and resolving non-conformities.
  • Ensuring PPE compliance, statutory signage, and adherence to SESUK's Health & Safety, Quality, and Environmental policies.
  • Leading subcontractor meetings, planning site logistics, maintaining drawing registers and site files, and supporting development of O&M manuals and H&S files.
  • Building strong relationships with clients, residents, senior managers, and RLO/customer service teams.
  • Recording and resolving site queries, complaints, and performance issues professionally and efficiently.
  • Providing mentoring to apprentices and trainees, and presenting the SESUK brand positively at all times.
  • Maintaining accurate weekly timesheets, managing company vehicles/equipment responsibly, and supporting customer forums or presentations when required.
  • Committing to ongoing training and development to support safe, compliant project delivery.

Skills & experience required:

  • Proven site/contract management experience.
  • IOSH Managing Safely or SMSTS qualification.
  • Strong ability to lead, motivate, and manage site teams and subcontractors.
  • Skilled in implementing recovery plans and monitoring progress.
  • Able to performance-manage trades and subcontractors against quality, safety, and programme targets.
  • Keeps up to date with relevant legislation, industry standards, and technological developments.
  • Confident using digital tools for programming works, reporting, and maintaining accurate site records.
  • CSCS Card.
  • First Aid Certificate.
