We are looking for a Quality Assurance Operative to join our Abernethy team.
At Branston, potatoes are our business, supplying both fresh and prepared products to one of the biggest retailers within the UK.
The role is based at our Fresh factory, which has recently undergone huge developments, with new automation and machinery installed as part of our continuous improvement plans.

Excellent communication skills Adaptability & flexibility Self-motivation and the ability to work independently The role of a QA is to ensure that only the best spuds make it to supermarket shelves and uphold our site standards.
Your duties will include but are not limited to: Perform quality checks during intake and report any issues to the QA Team Leader Regularly inspect the production lines to ensure there are no quality-related issues.
Undertake testing of packed product to ensure it meets desired shelf life under the specified storage conditions.
Conduct routine site audits to ensure compliance against food manufacturing standards.
Enter quality data and results into excel for documentation.
Champion food manufacturing standards, ensuring the working area complies, and standard operating procedures are followed by all.
