A home with heart: St Teresa's is a residential service with nursing support in Penzance, and home for up to 27 disabled adults. Residents are deeply involved in the running of the entire service. You’ll find excellent facilities, a friendly and positive atmosphere and a beautiful local area.

Your working hours: Primarily working Monday to Friday with shifts falling between 8am - 4pm.

About the role: As Deputy Manager Registered Nurse, you will:

  • Support the Service Manager and deputise in their absence
  • Provide effective leadership, management, and supervision for a team of nurses and care staff
  • Lead with passion and enthusiasm to ensure a well-run, compliant, and person-centred service
  • Deliver high standards of nursing, clinical, and personal support
  • Promote independence, choice, and positive outcomes for residents
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety and all statutory obligations

What helps you shine here:

  • Current NMC registration as a Registered Nurse
  • A level of professional development and registration (may include Level 5 Leadership in Health and Social Care)
  • Experience managing a team of nursing and care staff
  • Experience providing direct personal and social care
  • Experience working with individuals with physical and/or learning disabilities
  • Flexibility to work rostered hours
