Responsibilities include:
Supporting the Head Chef with the day-to-day running of the kitchen
Preparing and cooking high-quality dishes to a consistent standard
Helping to manage and motivate the kitchen team
Ensuring food hygiene, health & safety and cleanliness standards are maintained
Assisting with stock control, ordering and kitchen organisation
Taking responsibility for the kitchen in the Head Chefs absence
Previous Sous Chef or strong Chef de Partie experience is essential, along with a good work ethic and the ability to work well in a busy kitchen.
