Our client, one of the UK’s fastest growing fast-fit automotive businesses, is currently looking for a Centre Manager based at their retail centre in Penrith. As a Centre Manager, you would be responsible for the day-to-day running of the centre, managing and motivating the centre and workshop teams, driving sales performance, and ensuring customers receive a high standard of service.
To be applicable for this role, you must have experience managing people and have a strong background within the automotive industry.
Location: Penrith
Pay / salary: £32,000 - £36,000, dependent on experience
OTE: Uncapped (realistic £10,000)
Shift and schedule: 08:30 - 17:30 Monday to Friday; Saturdays 08:30 - 16:00 on a rota with a day off in the week.
Fixed Term Contract: 12 months

Centre Manager Responsibilities:
- Manage and motivate the centre and workshop teams and drive sales performance
- Run the day-to-day operation of the centre
- Maximise customer conversion and ensure strong customer service
- Manage stock control, deliveries, branch assets and takings
- Ensure workshop equipment and machinery are properly maintained
- Maintain Health & Safety and operational standards
- Coach and train team members where required
To be a Centre Manager you will need:
- Valid UK driving licence (Essential)
- Previous Centre Manager / Assistant Centre Manager experience within automotive, tyres, fast-fit or a similar environment
- Strong commercial and sales background
- Good automotive and mechanical knowledge
- Team-management experience
- Understanding of relevant Health & Safety requirements
- Strong customer-service and account-management skills
