## The Role
As a Contracts Manager,youll be responsible for leading the successful delivery of contracts,ensuring projects are completed safely,efficiently and to the highest quality standards. Youll act as the key point of contact for clients,support operational and back-office teams,and provide leadership across multiple functions to achieve successful project outcomes.
### Key Responsibilities
- Lead the safe,efficient and successful delivery of contracts,ensuring projects are delivered right first time.
- Champion high standards of health,safety,environmental compliance and employee wellbeing.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients,acting as a trusted point of contact.
- Monitor contract performance,identifying risks,opportunities and implementing effective solutions.
- Ensure all contractual,technical and quality requirements are met.
- Support resource planning and work closely with senior leadership on technical capability,business development and tender opportunities.
- Manage project programmes,commercial performance and contractual obligations.
- Lead,mentor and develop teams through clear objectives,coaching and regular performance reviews.
- Promote collaboration across operational,engineering and support functions to deliver outstanding results.
## About You
To be successful in this role,youll have:
- Proven experience in a Contracts Manager role within utilities,engineering,infrastructure or a similar contracting environment.
- Excellent communication,negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong commercial awareness with experience managing contract performance and profitability.
- A positive,collaborative leadership style with the ability to influence teams and clients.
- A passion for continuous improvement and developing high-performing teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of MEICA,electrical systems,quality standards and NEC4 contracts would be advantageous.
- Engineering-related qualifications and a strong understanding of project and contract management principles.
- A full UK driving licence.
