The Role
- Preparing components and products for painting, including sanding, filling, masking, and cleaning
- Inspecting surfaces and identifying defects that require rectification
- Applying primers and preparing materials ahead of the paint process
- Using hand and power tools to achieve the required finish standards
- Ensuring parts are correctly masked and protected before painting
About You
- Previous experience as a Prepper, Paint Prepper, Surface Finisher, or within a similar manufacturing environment
- Experience preparing metal, composite, or automotive components for painting
- Strong knowledge of sanding, masking, filling, and surface preparation techniques
- The ability to follow work instructions and technical specifications
