Academics are working with a number of high-achieving Secondary Schools across Oxford, who are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to join their teams. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable experience in education while making a positive impact on students' academic and personal development.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support teachers with lesson preparation and classroom activities.
- Provide 1:1 and small group support to students who need additional help.
- Help students understand tasks and reinforce key learning.
- Encourage students to stay focused, motivated and engaged.
- Support students both inside and outside the classroom.
- Promote positive behaviour and contribute to a safe, inclusive learning environment.
- Build positive relationships with students and staff.
