An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced sales professional to join a growing business within the commercial HVAC sector. We're looking for a motivated and commercially focused Regional Business Manager to develop business across North London and the Northern Home Counties. This is a specification-led sales role, working closely with M&E consultants, contractors, developers and architects to secure product specifications and drive project opportunities.

The Role

  • As Regional Business Manager, you will be responsible for managing and growing a defined sales territory, developing new business opportunities while maintaining and expanding existing customer relationships.
  • Working closely with consultants, contractors and developers, you'll provide technical guidance, promote HVAC solutions and support projects from initial specification through to completion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage sales across a defined territory.
  • Generate new business opportunities while growing existing accounts.
  • Build strong relationships with M&E consultants, contractors, developers and architects.
  • Secure product specifications on commercial construction projects.
  • Provide a consultative, solution-based sales approach.

  • Deliver CPD presentations and technical product updates.
  • Work closely with internal teams to maximise project conversion.
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts and customer records using CRM.

  • Support continuous business growth and improvement initiatives.

About You

You'll be a driven and self-motivated sales professional who enjoys developing long-term customer relationships and identifying new business opportunities.

Essential

  • Proven experience in a technical or specification sales role.
  • Experience working with M&E consultants, contractors, developers or architects.
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
  • A track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • Commercial awareness with excellent negotiation skills.
  • Ability to deliver a consultative sales approach.
  • Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Competent with Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
  • Full UK driving licence.

Desirable

  • Experience within HVAC, fan coil units or building services.
  • Understanding of specification sales within the construction sector.
