Whether you're an experienced Playworker, qualified in childcare, or simply have experience working with children and are looking for flexible seasonal work, Worldwide Education would love to hear from you.

We are currently recruiting Qualified and Unqualified Playworkers to support holiday clubs, activity camps and childcare settings across Oxfordshire throughout the school holidays.

Working on a supply basis means you choose when you're available, while gaining experience across a variety of exciting settings.

About the Playworker Role As a Seasonal Playworker, you'll play an important role in providing a safe, stimulating and enjoyable environment where children can learn, play and develop through a range of engaging activities.

Every day is different, and you'll work alongside friendly teams supporting children aged approximately 414 years in holiday club environments.

Playworker Responsibilities Supervise children in a safe and engaging environment.

Plan, prepare and participate in a range of age-appropriate activities including arts and crafts, sports, games, outdoor play and team-building activities.

Encourage children's confidence, independence and social development.

Support children with varying needs, ensuring every child feels included.

Follow safeguarding, health & safety and behaviour management procedures at all times.

Build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues.

Assist with setting up and clearing away activities and equipment.

Respond appropriately to accidents, incidents or concerns in line with safeguarding procedures.

We're Looking For Qualified Applicants Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare, Early Years, Playwork, Teaching Assistant, Education or a related subject (desirable depending on role).

Previous experience working with children.

Unqualified Applicants Experience working with children through schools, nurseries, holiday clubs, sports coaching, youth work, childcare, volunteering or similar environments.

Enthusiastic, energetic and passionate about helping children thrive.

Reliable with a positive and professional attitude.

Playworker Essential Requirements Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work as part of a team.

Flexible approach to work and travel across Oxfordshire.

A genuine passion for supporting children.

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).

Right to work in the UK.

Ability to provide a full five-year employment and education history with satisfactory references.
