Our client, a successful, highly regarded family-run civil engineering and utility contractor seeks to hire a Customer Support Administrator / Planning Co-ordinator to play a key part in coordinating repair schedules, supporting operational teams, and delivering excellent outcomes for customers.
About the Role
Youll be part of a small, friendly Planning team, responsible for booking and scheduling all customer appointments to investigate and repair water leaks on customer supply pipes. Youll be based at a beautiful rural site in near, Oxford, working closely with customers, field operatives, and supervisors to keep everything running smoothly.
Your key responsibilities:
Handling inbound and outbound customer calls
Scheduling and coordinating investigation and repair appointments
Raising and updating jobs on the database
Managing emails and written correspondence
Supporting the wider planning team with day-to-day coordination
Gatekeeping and ensuring smooth workflow
About You
Youre someone who thrives in a busy, people-focused role and takes pride in doing things well.
Strong communication and stakeholder skills
Planning/scheduling experience (ideally within water/utilities, but not essential)
An organised, calm, and solution-focused approach
Confidence using planning or scheduling systems
Strong IT skills (Microsoft Office & Google Workspace)
Excellent telephone manner and attention to detail
Most importantly, youre a team player whos flexible, proactive, and positive.
