We are recruiting for a Service Advisor, Automotive Service Advisor or Aftersales Advisor to join a busy dealership in Orpington. Previous automotive Service Advisor experience is desirable but not essential; applicants with strong customer-facing experience, excellent communication skills and the ability to work to targets will also be considered. A Full UK Driving Licence and the right to work in the UK are required.
Job Details:
- Location: Orpington
- Salary: £35,000 basic + bonus, OTE £40,000
- Joining Bonus: £1,000 in month one + £1,000 after 12 months
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 6:00pm, plus 1 in 5 Saturdays, 8:00am - 12:30pm

Service Advisor Role:
- Act as the main link between customers and the workshop
- Manage customer expectations throughout servicing and repair work
- Keep customers updated on vehicle progress and completion times
- Build strong relationships and deliver excellent customer service
- Explain and recommend relevant additional products and services
- Follow up with customers after work is completed
- Work efficiently to achieve customer service and commercial targets
Service Advisor Requirements:
- Strong customer service and customer-facing experience
- Previous Service Advisor or automotive Aftersales experience is desirable but not essential
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Confidence working towards targets and deadlines
- Strong organisational skills
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Right to work in the UK
