Rapid Recruit are currently recruiting Production Operatives on behalf of our client, a well-established plastic manufacturer based in Burscough.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating and monitoring plastic manufacturing machinery
- Handling materials including lifting, moving and stacking raw materials and finished products
- Inspecting products to ensure they meet quality standards, specifications and production requirements
- Assisting with the assembly, packaging and labelling of components ready for dispatch
- Supporting basic machine maintenance activities including cleaning, routine checks and reporting faults
- Following all health and safety procedures and maintaining a clean and organised work environment
- Accurately recording production data, machine settings, quality checks and any issues encountered during shifts
- Working collaboratively with colleagues and supervisors to achieve daily production targets
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is essential
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Good attention to detail and quality standards
- An FLT Counterbalance licence is desirable for the handling and transportation of goods, however not essential
This is a full-time position, working Monday to Friday 11.30am-8pm at £12.71 per hour.
