People Solutions are currently recruiting for HGV Class 2 Drivers to join our well-established client based in Halesowen and the surrounding areas. This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced drivers looking for stable, ongoing work, excellent earning potential, and long-term career progression.

Shift Pattern:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Start times between 05:00 and 06:00

Pay Rates:

  • £15.50 per hour
  • Up to £1,000 per week

Day-to-Day Duties:

  • Safely operating and driving Category C vehicles to and from delivery locations
  • Completing up to twelve multi-drop deliveries per day
  • Loading and unloading vehicles safely and accurately
  • Carrying out daily vehicle inspections and reporting any defects
  • Adhering to all traffic laws and road safety regulations
  • Completing delivery paperwork accurately
  • Communicating effectively with transport teams, customers, and site staff
  • Supporting with some handball duties as required

Essential Skills:

  • A valid UK Category C Driving Licence
  • A valid CPC Card
  • A valid Digital Tachograph Card
  • No more than six penalty points for minor offences (no IN, DR, DD, or CD convictions)
  • A reliable, professional, and punctual approach
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • A strong understanding of driver compliance and road safety regulations

Desirable Experience:

  • Previous commercial driving experience
  • Multi-drop delivery experience
  • Experience working in a customer-facing environment

Training:

Ongoing support and development throughout your assignment.
