People Solutions are currently recruiting for HGV Class 2 Drivers to join our well-established client based in Halesowen and the surrounding areas. This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced drivers looking for stable, ongoing work, excellent earning potential, and long-term career progression.
Shift Pattern:
- Monday to Friday
- Start times between 05:00 and 06:00
Pay Rates:
- £15.50 per hour
- Up to £1,000 per week
Benefits:

Day-to-Day Duties:
- Safely operating and driving Category C vehicles to and from delivery locations
- Completing up to twelve multi-drop deliveries per day
- Loading and unloading vehicles safely and accurately
- Carrying out daily vehicle inspections and reporting any defects
- Adhering to all traffic laws and road safety regulations
- Completing delivery paperwork accurately
- Communicating effectively with transport teams, customers, and site staff
- Supporting with some handball duties as required
Essential Skills:
- A valid UK Category C Driving Licence
- A valid CPC Card
- A valid Digital Tachograph Card
- No more than six penalty points for minor offences (no IN, DR, DD, or CD convictions)
- A reliable, professional, and punctual approach
- Good communication and customer service skills
- A strong understanding of driver compliance and road safety regulations
Desirable Experience:
- Previous commercial driving experience
- Multi-drop delivery experience
- Experience working in a customer-facing environment
Training:
Ongoing support and development throughout your assignment.
