This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, ongoing Monday to Friday work, depot-to-depot trunking, guaranteed scheduled shifts and genuine temp-to-permanent opportunities with a leading logistics operation.
This role would suit candidates with experience as an HGV Class 1 Driver, LGV Class 1 Driver, Class 1 Driver, CE Driver, Category CE Driver, C+E Driver, Trunk Driver, Articulated Lorry Driver, HGV Driver or Commercial Driver .

- Industry-related training and ongoing support Day-to-Day Duties As an HGV Class 1 Driver , your duties will include:
- Completing depot-to-depot trunking routes and trailer swaps
- Driving and operating Category C+E (Class 1) vehicles safely and efficiently
- Carrying out daily vehicle safety inspections before and after each shift
- Ensuring all loads are secure and compliant before transportation
- Completing delivery paperwork accurately
- Following Driver Hours Regulations, the Working Time Directive and all road traffic legislation
- Reporting vehicle defects or maintenance requirements promptly
- Providing a professional service to transport teams and customer sites Essential Skills To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Valid UK Category C+E (Class 1) Driving Licence
- Minimum of two years' Class 1 driving experience
- Valid Driver CPC Card
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card
- No more than six penalty points for minor infringements and no major endorsement codes
- Good spoken and written English
- Professional, reliable and safety-focused approach Desirable Experience
- Previous depot-to-depot trunking experience
- Previous trailer swap experience
- Previous commercial Class 1 driving experience Training Provided
- Driver assessment prior to start
