£37,000 + Annual Bonus Scheme | Nottingham | Full Time On-Site

We're looking for a Product Designer with experience in hosiery, socks, underwear or loungewear to join a market-leading supplier working with global retailers and licensed brands.

You'll play a key role in leading product development, mentoring a small design team and bringing innovative commercial ranges from concept through to launch.

The Role
Working closely with the Product Development Director, you'll be responsible for leading the design and development of commercial product ranges whilst ensuring projects are delivered on time and to the highest standard.
Your responsibilities will include:
Leading the development of seasonal product ranges from initial concept through to production.
Managing and supporting members of the design team.
Researching trends, colours, fabrics and new product opportunities.
Creating inspiring mood boards, presentations and customer-facing range proposals.
Managing critical paths to ensure key deadlines are achieved.
Working closely with sales, sourcing, technical and product development teams.
Liaising with suppliers throughout the development process.
Attending customer meetings and presenting new collections where required.
Ensuring all products meet customer expectations, brand guidelines and commercial objectives.

About You
We're looking for someone who combines creativity with commercial awareness and enjoys taking ownership of projects.

You'll ideally have:
Previous experience in hosiery, socks, underwear or loungewear to join a market-leading supplier working with global retailers and licensed brands.
Experience developing products from concept through to production.
Strong trend awareness and commercial design ability.
Experience working with suppliers and managing product development.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong presentation and communication skills.
Experience mentoring or managing junior designers would be advantageous.

One day working from home each week may be considered for the right person following probation.
Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm .
