An established, modern professional services firm is hiring for a key Payroll position, based in Nottingham, with the firm offering hybrid working after probation and parking on site. The firm is open to the level of experience and salary, therefore, their salary band is flexible and determined by your experience and the firm's judgement at interview. It is likely that a role like this can pay up to and around the mid-thirties.
You will be working in a team, reporting into a Manager. They are seeking a capable Senior Payroll professional but may consider candidates at a more Manager grade too. Most people spend the majority of the first 6 months probationary period working in the office, but after that, you can work 2 days per week from home if preferred. The firm may allow some home working before the end of the 6 months probation in certain circumstances.

Full time hours over a 5 day week are preferred, 37.5 hours, but part-time applications may be considered. They offer hybrid working, strong benefits packages, and are known to be a supportive and generous employer.

- Ensuring that client statutory returns are submitted by the appropriate deadlines
- Clients CIS Tax deducted returns
- Upload of Bacs payroll payments
- Assisting the Payroll Manager as necessary and acting as cover for other Payroll Technicians
- Practical experience of payroll processing, preferably in a payroll bureau environment or within practice
- Experience of IRIS Payroll Professional (IPP), Earnie, Xero Payroll, Sage Payroll would be an advantage
