At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Operations Lead to work with an important company in Nottingham, a leading smart mobility provider offering cities a range of mobility products including e-assist bicycles and electric scooters.
- Shift Patterns:
* Any 5 days out of 7, including weekends and evenings as required - Pay Rates:
* £15.30 per hour
As a Operations Lead you will need to have
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar operational environment.
- Previous leadership or team-training experience preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a mechanically minded approach.
- Ability to lift up to 65 lbs / 30kg on a frequent basis.
- Ability to use mobile applications and learn new tools and systems.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Strong understanding of operational KPIs and performance.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Safety-focused mindset with strong attention to detail.
- Experience using a pallet jack or push cart.
- Ability to work evenings and weekends when required.
- Ability to analyse data and use KPIs to improve operational performance.

Role of a Operations Lead
- Lead, train and support a team of Mechanics and Drivers.
- Allocate daily tasks and ensure team workflow is efficient.
- Monitor team performance and operational KPIs.
- Complete vehicle safety and quality checks before deployment.
- Manage battery inspection, rotation and check-in/out processes.
- Maintain warehouse compliance and inventory accuracy.
- Complete basic vehicle repairs and maintenance.
- Assist with tyre changes, inflation and assembly.
- Complete mechanical and electronic repairs in the warehouse.
- Maintain accurate records of vehicle and parts checks.
- Coordinate with third-party logistics providers.
- Monitor vehicle deployment and identify operational bottlenecks.
- Provide daily updates on warehouse performance and repair backlogs.
- Respond professionally to public complaints and local issues.
- Monitor and report incidents such as vehicle vandalism.
- Maintain high standards of warehouse safety and cleanliness.
- Maximise the number of operational vehicles available.
