Emtec Building Services North is strengthening its delivery leadership team as we mobilise new projects and build on a strong, secured pipeline of work across the region.

As part of this continued growth, were looking for an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join us in Leeds.

This is a key leadership role where youll take full ownership of Mechanical projects from pre-construction through to handover.

You'll be leading site teams, developing strong client relationships, and playing an active role in shaping our expanding presence in the North.

Emtec Building Services is a leading M&E contractor delivering end-to-end mechanical and electrical solutions across commercial, industrial, and public sector projects, from early design and pre-construction through to installation, commissioning, and ongoing support.

The Role
As Mechanical Project Manager, youll be responsible for the safe, efficient, and successful delivery of Mechanical packages across a range of commercial construction projects, while supporting the development of your teams and identifying opportunities to grow the business.

What Youll Be Doing
Leading site and project teams, ensuring compliance with Health & Safety, environmental, and quality standards.

Managing project budgets, reporting, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope.

Overseeing variations and tendering additional works where required.

Providing technical support to clients and site teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Mentoring and developing your team, driving performance and encouraging professional growth.

Building strong client relationships that lead to repeat business and long-term partnerships.

Supporting commercial, design, and delivery coordination across contracts.

What Youll Bring
Youll be a qualified Mechanical Engineer with extensive experience in commercial and Industrial construction and fit out sectors.

Proven M&E Project Management experience.

Strong commercial, design, financial, and delivery knowledge across construction contracts.

Confident leadership style with excellent communication and organisational skills.

A proactive, client-focused approach with a genuine passion for quality and delivery excellence.

Valid SMSTS
