Eaton Syalon are delighted to be supporting a high-growth business with the recruitment of a Management Accountant for one of the businesses key divisions. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic organisation at an exciting stage of its journey, working closely with the wider finance team and operations teams.

The Role

As Management Accountant, you'll play a pivotal role in producing and interpreting financial and non-financial information. You'll provide clear insights into performance, highlight risks and opportunities, and deliver accurate and timely management information to support decision-making at senior level.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparation of financial reporting: Deliver accurate and timely management accounts, budgets, forecasts, cashflow forecasts, balance sheet reconciliations and detailed financial analysis to support business decision-making.
  • Business Partnering: Act as a trusted partner to operational and commercial teams, providing financial insights, challenging assumptions, and supporting efficiency improvements and growth initiatives.
  • Statutory & Audit Support: Prepare information for statutory accounts, ensure compliance with regulatory and tax requirements, and provide clear, timely responses to external auditors and advisors.
  • VAT & Compliance: Manage completion and record-keeping of VAT returns, ensuring compliance with financial legislation and internal controls.
  • Process & Systems: Assist with the ongoing development of financial systems, controls, and reporting processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency across a multi-currency, multi-entity structure.
  • Cross-team Collaboration: Provide cover and support for colleagues.
  • Ad-hoc Projects: Contribute to wider finance projects.

We're looking for a talented Management Accountant who enjoys a commercially focused role. You will be a technically strong Qualified or Finalist Accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) and possess strong Excel and analytical skills. You will have up to date knowledge of current accounting standards and be able to build strong working partnerships with finance and non-finance colleagues.
