T&K Associates are currently recruiting on behalf of our Client located near Barwell for a Machine Operator to join their growing team on a Temporary to Permanent basis. Our Client is the UKs largest manufacturer and supplier of precast concrete solutions and due to expansion, it’s never been a better time to join their friendly team. With their fully automated state of the art facility and on-going growth plans, this is a fantastic opportunity not to be missed!

Job Details & Benefits:

  • £520 per week to start rising to £620 per week when permanent including weekly production bonus
  • 40 hours per week - Monday to Thursday 6am-4pm
  • Paid breaks

Job Details:

  • Operate production line equipment
  • Checking the product is as per specification
  • Driving a counterbalance FLT
  • Monitor production line and carry out basic testing and quality checks
  • Clean and maintain work areas
  • Other duties as required by management

The environment is dusty, loud, and labour intense therefore applicants need to be physically fit.

Person Specification:

  • Must be physically fit due to lifting and moving the product
  • Previous Forklift driving experience is desirable but not essential
  • Ability to work well as a team
  • Good understanding of H&S
  • Happy to stand for the duration of your shift & complete repetitive duties
  • Own transport required due to location
