Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging, high-quality teaching across heavy vehicle engineering and motor vehicle studies
  • Support learners to develop the knowledge, skills, and behaviours required for success
  • Assess learner progress and provide constructive feedback
  • Adapt teaching methods to meet individual learner needs, ensuring an inclusive learning environment
  • Maintain accurate records in line with awarding body and compliance requirements
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and high standards of training delivery

What we're looking for:

  • Level 3 (or above) qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or similar)
  • Strong, current industry experience within the HGV sector
  • Knowledge of diagnostics, fault-finding, and safe workshop practices
  • Experience in training, coaching, or assessment (or willingness to gain a teaching qualification)
  • Passion for developing others and supporting learner success
  • Understanding of apprenticeships or vocational training (desirable)
