Foreman Commercial Groundworks Nottingham We are currently recruiting for an experienced Foreman to join an established groundworks subcontractor on a commercial groundworks package in the Nottingham area.
This is a good opportunity for an experienced Groundworks Foreman with a strong subcontractor background.
The client is looking to interview immediately and can accommodate candidates who are available immediately or after a short notice period.
The Role The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day supervision of the groundworks package, managing gangs and labour while ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and in line with programme and quality requirements.
Key Responsibilities Supervise daily groundworks operations.
Manage gangs, labour and subcontractors.
Coordinate labour, plant and materials.
Ensure works are completed safely and to programme.
Maintain high Health & Safety standards.
Liaise with Site Management, Engineers and the wider project team.
Monitor quality and productivity.
Assist with resolving day-to-day site issues.
Scope of Works The project involves a standard commercial groundworks package, including foundations, drainage, concrete works, ducting, slabs and associated external works.
Requirements Previous experience as a Groundworks Foreman.
Strong background working for a groundworks subcontractor.
Commercial groundworks experience.
SSSTS Essential.
CSCS Card Essential.
First Aid Desirable.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
What's on Offer £240£280 per day depending on experience.
