This Automotive Test Technician job will suit: An Automotive Technician, Workshop Technician, Mechanical Technician or Test Technician with a practical engineering background.
Someone who enjoys working on vehicles and mechanical equipment.
A professional individual who is comfortable working alongside customers in a testing environment.
Candidates with a strong focus on safety, quality and attention to detail.
You will hold a relevant Level 3 qualification in mechanical engineering, electrical electronic engineering, automotive engineering, or similar engineering discipline.
A full UK driving licence is required.
This Automotive Test Technician job will involve: Preparing and installing vehicles onto chassis dynamometers for testing.
Operating climatic wind tunnel and vehicle test facilities.
Driving vehicles during test activities where required.
Supporting vehicle testing programmes alongside engineers and customers.
Carrying out routine maintenance and calibration of test equipment.
Supporting continuous improvement activities and ensuring the test facility operates safely and efficiently.
