This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Senior Electrical Design Engineer Building Services who enjoys the flexibility of remote working while remaining connected with project teams. The role is home-based, with travel to London approximately twice per month for design meetings and client collaboration.
The Role
As a Senior Electrical Design Engineer Building Services, you will lead the delivery of innovative Electrical Design, Building Services solutions. Working remotely, you will be responsible for producing and reviewing detailed Electrical Design, Building Services designs, ensuring compliance with current regulations and industry best practice while working closely with multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality Electrical Design, Building Services projects from concept through to construction.
- Produce detailed electrical design calculations, specifications, reports and drawings.
- Lead and coordinate Electrical Design, Building Services activities with internal and external project teams.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
- Attend design and client meetings in London approximately twice per month.
- Ensure all Electrical Design, Building Services deliverables meet programme, budget and quality expectations.
- Work independently within a remote working environment while maintaining excellent communication with colleagues and clients.
About You
- Significant experience in Electrical Design, Building Services.
- Proven experience working as a Senior Electrical Design Engineer within the building services sector.
- Experience within large scale residential developments is required.
- Strong knowledge of BS 7671, British Standards and current Building Regulations.
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
- The ability to manage multiple projects whilst working in a remote working environment.
