Core tasks

  • Drive performance across the Accounts Receivable team, ensuring standards and processes are consistent across the portfolio.
  • Support the AR team by reviewing arrears and supporting with allocations, refunds, write-offs and charges, ensuring they are actioned and monitoring where necessary.
  • Liaise with all teams to ensure client and internal Key Performance Indicators are achieved and aim to exceed expectations.
  • Monitor collection rates and historic arrears to ensure that all management agreement targets are met.
  • Monitor Tenant Refunds and ensure they are completed in a timely manner.
  • Recommend & monitor write-offs/provisions where appropriate.
  • Liaise with JBS AR team over allocation of funds.
  • Liaise with JBS AR team to ensure charge raising is accurate and adjustments are completed timely.
  • Assist management in improving Key Performance Indicators.
  • Identify and suggest improvements to standardise, streamline and simplify working procedures.
  • Support and lead on client/occupier projects.
  • Training and development of colleagues in the AR team.
  • Any other accounting duties necessary to ensure the efficient running of the portfolio.
  • Effectively manage risk by complying with Company and legislative procedures and controls. Identify problem areas and escalate issues promptly.

Team Work

  • Build strong working relationships with Property Accounts, Surveyors, FMs, JBS AR and other related teams.
  • Support senior management in creating an industry-leading AR team, which is considered a 'Centre of Excellence' both internally and externally.
