An excellent opportunity for an ambitious and commercially minded Internal Sales Engineer to join a successful and well-established engineering business based in Northwich. This is a relationship-focused role supporting existing customers across the industrial, water treatment and process sectors.
You will work closely with customers to maximise opportunities within existing accounts, chasing quotations, analysing customer spend, arranging site visits and ensuring opportunities do not slip through the net. There is no cold calling involved.
This role would suit someone with an engineering background, degree calibre education, or ideally some knowledge of pumps, dosing systems or water treatment equipment.

The Role:
- Managing and developing relationships with existing customers.
- Chasing quotations and following up on sales opportunities.
- Analysing customer spend and identifying growth opportunities within accounts.
- Coordinating and arranging customer site visits where required.
- Ensuring enquiries and smaller opportunities are proactively managed and converted.
- Supporting customers with technical and commercial enquiries relating to water treatment pumps and associated equipment.
- Working closely with internal teams to deliver excellent customer service.
This is an office-based role in Northwich with occasional customer visits.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Degree calibre or technically minded with an engineering background.
- Experience in internal sales, technical sales, customer support or account management would be advantageous.
- Any knowledge of pumps, dosing systems, water treatment or industrial/process equipment would be highly desirable.
- Commercially aware, organised and proactive.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Keen to develop within a growing engineering business.
