We specialise in personalised general nursing and dementia care that develops, sustains, and where possible, improves mental and motor skills.
We are looking for a Housekeeper to assist with laundering and housekeeping duties at Kitwood House Nursing Home.
This is a 40-hour per week vacancy and alternative weekend shifts will be required.
Duties Included (but not limited to) Sort washing into relevant groups where applicable and process through the washer, dryer and iron.
Keep clean and dirty linen separate within the laundry area.
Follow infection control procedures at all times.
The following priorities apply: Bedding Towels Residents personal laundry Serviettes Tea towels Additional responsibilities include: Returning the Homes washing to the linen cupboard and kitchen.
Ensuring any clothes that are not marked are named and placed in the appropriate boxes after laundering.
Vacuuming bedrooms and corridors.
Mopping floors.
Dusting and cleaning glass and mirrors.
Cleaning bathrooms and toilets.
