Role - Tooling Technician
Location - Northamptonshire
Salary - £35,000
Hours - 7am to 4pm - Mon to Fri (earlier finish on Friday)

We're looking for a Tooling Technician to join a world-class engineering business in Northamptonshire. If you've got strong knowledge of machine tooling, this is a fantastic chance to support a busy machine shop at the heart of high-performance engineering for the automotive and motorsport industry.

The Role
This position puts you at the centre of the action, making sure the shop floor always has the right tools, at the right time. You'll manage tooling stock, liaise with suppliers and purchasing to reduce costs, coordinate repairs, regrinds and replacements. You'll also assemble and inspect tooling with Zoller equipment, raise purchase requisitions in SAP, and work closely with engineers to solve tooling issues and drive improvements. It's a varied role where your expertise directly impacts production efficiency and quality.

What's needed:
Strong knowledge of machine tooling and CNC machining
Experience with tool assembly and measuring equipment
Ability to carry out tool geometry inspection
SAP knowledge and solid computer skills
