Quest Employment is currently recruiting for experienced Forklift Drivers to join a busy and growing warehouse operation in Northampton. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with Counterbalance FLT experience who are looking for a stable night shift role within a fast-paced warehouse environment.
The Role
As a Forklift Driver, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day warehouse operation, ensuring products are moved, loaded, and dispatched safely and efficiently. The role involves a mixture of forklift work, manual handling, stock control, and general warehouse duties.
Key Responsibilities
- Loading and unloading deliveries using a Counterbalance forklift
- Moving stock safely throughout the warehouse and yard
- Picking and preparing customer orders for dispatch
- Checking, labelling, and banding completed orders
- Replenishing stock into storage locations and stillages
- Supporting stock counts and stock control processes
- Completing warehouse paperwork and documentation accurately
- Carrying out general warehouse duties as required
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment
- Following all Health & Safety procedures at all times
Requirements
- Valid Counterbalance FLT licence
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to complete manual handling duties safely
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Basic computer skills
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
