We have listed Northampton as the base location, but the role will require travel across our UK network to service different clients.

Roles & Responsibilities:
As an MHE Trainer, your responsibilities will include:
Delivering both classroom and practical MHE training sessions
Training and assessing operators on:
VNA (Very Narrow Aisle Trucks)
Reach Trucks
Powered Pallet Trucks (PPT)
Low Level Order Pickers (LLOP)
Carrying out operator assessments, refresher training and competency checks
Identifying unsafe working practices and providing coaching to improve safety and performance
Maintaining accurate training records, assessments and certification documentation
Ensuring all operators meet company policies and legal safety requirements
Supporting and promoting a positive health and safety culture throughout the operation
This role may require other duties, so it would be beneficial if you are flexible and willing to learn new skills.
About You :
To be considered for this role, you must have:
A valid recognised MHE Trainer qualification or licence
Authorisation to train and assess VNA, Reach Truck, PPT and LLOP operators
A valid, clean UK Driving Licence
At least 2 years' experience operating MHE equipment within a warehouse environment
Previous experience delivering MHE training, assessments and refresher courses
A strong understanding of Health & Safety legislation and safe operating procedures
Good knowledge of warehouse operations, including racking systems, safe loading and unloading, pedestrian segregation and daily equipment inspections
The confidence to assess both new and experienced operators against competency standards
Excellent communication, coaching and organisational skills
A professional attitude with the ability to work independently
It would be advantageous if you also have:
Experience within a high-volume logistics or warehouse operation
Knowledge of RTITB, ITSSAR, NPORS or AITT training standards
Experience delivering induction training programmes
Flexibility to work across multiple warehouse locations when required
You must be a UK resident and have your own transport to be able to travel to and from site for your shifts. Unfortunately, we are unable to support visa applications or relocation for this role.
