Skilled Cable Assemblers Required - Weekly Pay

Quest Employment are currently recruiting for experienced Skilled Cable Assemblers with soldering experience to join a leading manufacturer based in Moulton Park, Northampton. This is a great opportunity for candidates with previous cable assembly and soldering experience who are looking for consistent weekday hours, ongoing work, weekly pay and the potential of a permanent position.

You will be working in a clean and organised production environment, assembling high-quality electrical and data cables used across a range of industries.

The Role

  • Assembling power, data and electrical cables to specification
  • Soldering components and connections to a high standard
  • Crimping, stripping and terminating wires
  • Working with small and detailed components
  • Using hand tools and semi-automated equipment
  • Reading and following written and visual technical instructions
  • Carrying out quality checks on completed products
  • Working to production targets and deadlines
  • Keeping your work area clean, organised and safe
  • Following all site health and safety procedures

Key Skills and Experience

  • Have proven experience in cable assembly
  • Have previous soldering experience
  • Are confident carrying out detailed, hands-on assembly work
  • Have strong attention to detail and high-quality standards
  • Can follow technical instructions accurately
  • Are reliable, punctual and motivated
  • Can work independently and as part of a team
  • Previous experience within electronics, manufacturing or production environments would be highly desirable.
