An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Carpenter Multi Trader to join a well-established property maintenance team working across residential properties in the Southampton area. This is a varied role within an Empty Homes team, carrying out carpentry repairs, installations and general maintenance works to ensure properties are ready for new occupants. A company van and fuel card are provided, along with opportunities to increase earnings through overtime and call-out work.
The Role
- 1st and 2nd fix carpentry
- Installing internal and external doors, frames and windows
- UPVC installation and servicing
- Locksmith duties including gaining entry, lock changes and repairs
- Fencing repairs and installations
- Kitchen fitting and minor joinery works
- Basic plumbing, tiling, plastering, decorating and general property maintenance
What We're Looking For
- NVQ Level 2 in Carpentry or a minimum of 5 years' proven carpentry experience
- Previous experience in residential repairs, maintenance or housing environments
- Good understanding of health and safety practices
- Strong customer service and teamwork skills
- Full UK driving licence with at least 12 months' driving experience
