A well-established UK recruitment business specialising in delivering high-quality staffing solutions across the built environment and technical sectors, with offices in Southampton and Marbella and over 20 years' experience in construction recruitment. This is a fixed term contract, running from approximately 20 November 2026 to the end of August 2027, to cover a period of maternity leave. There may be scope for the role to continue beyond this depending on business needs at the time.

This role works closely and consistently with a set group of recruitment consultants, becoming embedded in how they work day to day rather than covering the wider business, so building a strong working relationship with the desk is key.
Summary
This role provides dedicated support to a small group of recruitment consultants. The job holder will handle candidate and client administration for their desks and make outbound calls to registered candidates to support live vacancies. As a key point of contact for those consultants' candidates and clients, the role requires a strong customer focus, attention to detail and adherence to established company procedures and regulatory requirements.
Main Responsibilities:
- Make outbound calls to registered candidates on behalf of the consultants you support, to progress live vacancies, screen suitability and update availability on the CRM.
- Support your consultants with administrative duties including booking interviews, arranging candidate registrations, writing and posting job advertisements, compiling CVs and maintaining candidate compliance records.
- Answer and action inbound calls and emails from candidates and clients on behalf of the consultants you support, directing anything outside your remit to the appropriate person.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, health and safety and GDPR in all administrative processes.
- Participate in regular training, team meetings and audits to support continuous improvement and compliance.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Maths and English GCSE (or equivalent) at grade 5 (C) or above.
- Previous experience in an administrative or recruitment environment is desirable; training will be provided.
Key Skills Required:
- IT literate with the ability to use Word, Excel, Outlook and CRM systems to a moderate level.
- Confident and comfortable making outbound calls, as well as a strong telephone manner and written communication skills for inbound queries.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment.
- High level of attention to detail.
- Comfortable working closely with the same small team day to day and building a strong working relationship with them.
- Willingness to learn, develop and take on new challenges.
