ST TALENT are recruiting for a Sales Team Leader to join a growing business based in Normanton. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced sales professional with leadership experience to join a successful and ambitious organisation. Leading a team of 7 Sales Executives, you'll play a key role in driving performance, developing your team and delivering commercial growth. This is a genuinely hands-on leadership role. You'll lead from the front, support the team in securing new business and growing existing accounts, while maintaining your own sales activity and customer relationships.

The Role
- Leading, motivating and developing a team of 7 Sales Executives
- Driving new business generation through outbound sales activity
- Coaching team members to maximise sales opportunities and conversion rates
- Supporting the team with customer quotations and account development
- Identifying opportunities to increase customer spend and product penetration
- Growing existing customer accounts through retention, upselling and cross-selling
- Monitoring individual and team performance against sales and margin targets
- Setting weekly and monthly objectives and ensuring they are achieved
- Supporting marketing campaigns and promotional activity
- Maintaining accurate CRM and customer records
- Delivering excellent customer service while achieving your own sales objectives
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in a sales, telesales, business development or account management role
- Experience leading, supervising, mentoring or coaching a sales team
- A proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
- Confidence in developing new business and managing customer relationships
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Commercial awareness and an understanding of margin and profitability
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word and Excel
- A resilient, positive and proactive approach
What's on Offer?
- £28,000 basic salary
- £7,000 OTE
- Full-time, permanent position
- Monday to Thursday: 9:00am - 5:30pm & Friday: 8:30am - 5:30pm
- Office-based role in Normanton
