Behind every successful business is a great team, and we're looking for a Payroll Administrator to join us on a 12-month fixed-term contract, supporting the delivery of an accurate, efficient, and compliant payroll service across our organisation.

About the Role As Payroll Administrator, you'll play a key role in supporting the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring our colleagues are paid accurately and on time. Working closely with HR, Finance, and external payroll providers, you'll be responsible for maintaining employee records, processing payroll changes, and responding to payroll-related queries.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with payroll administration experience looking to further develop their expertise within a supportive and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities Support the accurate and timely processing of monthly payrolls.
Process payroll changes, including new starters, leavers, salary changes, benefits, and deductions.
Maintain and update employee payroll records, ensuring data accuracy and compliance.
Assist with the administration of statutory payments and leave, including SSP, SMP, and other payroll-related entitlements.
Liaise with HR and Finance teams to resolve payroll queries.
Respond to employee payroll enquiries in a professional and timely manner.
Support payroll reporting and reconciliation activities.
Ensure compliance with payroll legislation, company policies, and GDPR requirements.
Assist with year-end payroll processes and audits as required.
What We're Looking For Previous experience in a payroll administration or payroll support role.
Good understanding of payroll processes and payroll legislation.
Strong attention to detail with excellent numerical accuracy.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Strong communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Experience using payroll systems would be advantageous.
